Orders and shipping

When will my order ship?
In-stock orders ship within 2–3 business days. Pre-orders (100 mL sizes and the Apothecary Set) ship within 4–6 weeks. You'll get a tracking email when your order ships.

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Orders of $88 or more ship free, and the Discovery Set and Apothecary Set always ship free.

Can I get my order faster?
Yes. At checkout you can choose USPS Ground Advantage, Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express. Each option shows its price and estimated delivery time.

Where do you ship?
Anywhere in the United States, including US territories, APO/FPO/DPO addresses and PO boxes. We don't ship internationally yet.

My package was lost or stolen. What can I do?
Email contact@jieclabs.com with your order number and we'll help you file a claim with USPS.

My order arrived damaged, or I got the wrong item.
Email a photo to contact@jieclabs.com and we'll send a replacement free of charge.

Returns and cancellations

What is your refund policy?
If you're not satisfied, we'll refund your purchase price (less shipping) within 30 days of delivery, no questions asked. Email contact@jieclabs.com with your order number; no photos needed. This refund is limited to one per household. See our Refund Policy for details.

Can I cancel a pre-order?
Yes. You can cancel a pre-order for a full refund any time before it ships. Refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear.

Our products

What sizes do you offer?
Every oil comes in a 50 mL airless-pump travel size and a 100 mL glass dropper bottle. The 100 mL size is currently available for pre-order.

Can I take your oils on a plane?
Yes. Both sizes are within the TSA's 3.4 oz (100 mL) limit for liquids in carry-on bags.

What's in your single oils?
One ingredient and nothing else. Our single oils are cold-pressed or mechanically extracted, with nothing added.

What's in Sun Enhancing Body Oil?
16 botanically derived ingredients, 7 of them from the Amazon. Every ingredient is 100% natural and unrefined, either cold-pressed, mechanically extracted or steam-distilled. No chemical extraction processes are used. The full ingredient list is on the product page.

Is Sun Enhancing Body Oil a sunscreen?
No. It contains no sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn.

How do I know what's in my bottle?
Every bottle carries a QR code for its lot. Scan it to see that lot's certificate of analysis.

How should I use the oils?
Patch test before first use, and stop use if irritation occurs. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children.

Are your products vegan?
Yes.

Are your products cruelty-free?
Yes. None of our products have been tested on animals, and none contain animal-derived ingredients.

Are your oils organic?
We mark organic ingredients as organic in each product's ingredient list. Many of our oils come from small local producers who gather fruits and seeds from wild forests. In many of these regions, the cost of official organic certification outweighs the benefit for those producers, so many wild-gathered ingredients are never formally certified.
